Morsvitae
Morsvitae, also known as the Primordial God of Entropy and Renewal, is one of the two original deities who forged the universe alongside Uzhyr. As a fundamental cosmic force, Morsvitae embodies the principles of transformation, decay, and rebirth that maintain the universe's dynamic equilibrium. Her domain encompasses all aspects of change and renewal, from the death of stars to the emergence of new life forms.

Origins and Creation
In the beginning, Morsvitae existed in perfect balance with Uzhyr, the God of Order and Law. Together, they established the foundational principles that would govern reality. While Uzhyr provided structure and consistency to the cosmos, Morsvitae ensured that nothing remained static, introducing the concept of change and evolution to prevent stagnation. This duality allowed for the creation of a dynamic universe where both order and chaos could coexist in harmony.
Their first great collaboration was the creation of the Lort'zyn, a primordial race meant to spread across the stars and establish cosmic civilization. For three billion years, Morsvitae guided the Lort'zyn alongside Uzhyr, teaching them the importance of adaptation and renewal while her counterpart instructed them in the ways of order and structure.
The Ravager Crisis
When the Ravager invaded their universe from beyond, Morsvitae fought alongside Uzhyr to defend creation itself. After Uzhyr defeated the entity by forging its soul into The Entomber of Gods, Morsvitae took the initiative to create the Nemither, a parallel dimension designed to contain the Ravager's corpse and prevent its corrupting influence from spreading further.
The Nemither represented Morsvitae's masterwork of cosmic engineering - a realm where the laws of physics operated in opposition to realspace, ensuring that no structure could remain permanent. This perpetual state of flux made it the perfect prison for the Ravager's remains, though it would later serve as a staging ground for forces that would threaten the stability of realspace itself.
Philosophical Divergence
Over time, Morsvitae's perspective on cosmic order began to diverge from Uzhyr's vision. While she viewed transformation and decay as necessary components of universal renewal, Uzhyr increasingly sought to establish permanent, unchanging structures. This ideological rift became particularly apparent after Uzhyr created the Omnium Theocracy, a vast plateau-realm designed to impose perfect order across a million galaxy-sized territories.
Morsvitae saw the Theocracy as a violation of natural cosmic law - an attempt to create eternal stasis in a universe that required constant change to remain healthy. She attempted to reason with Uzhyr, warning him about the dangers of enforcing absolute order, but found him unwilling to compromise on his vision for creation.
The Dark Pantheon and War
In what would prove to be a pivotal decision, Morsvitae chose to lead the Dark Pantheon to the Ravager's corpse, enabling them to draw power from its remains. This action, while not intended as an act of malice, effectively initiated the War for Eternity. She viewed the corruption of the Nonet not as a tragedy, but as a necessary transformation - another example of the universe's inevitable cycle of change.
During the war, Morsvitae demonstrated her immense creative powers by helping forge terrible weapons and entities. Her collaboration with Ytdarr led to the creation of the Eschatons, monstrous beings capable of challenging even Uzhyr's mighty Deipurae. These actions, while devastating to the Theocracy, aligned with her fundamental belief in the necessity of destruction as a catalyst for renewal.
Powers and Manifestation
Unlike Uzhyr's brilliant, orderly radiance, Morsvitae manifests as a constantly shifting form that defies fixed description. Her presence causes reality to ripple and transform, though she carefully controls this effect to prevent unintended harm to creation. Her powers over entropy allow her to accelerate or slow the natural processes of decay and renewal throughout the cosmos.
One of her most significant abilities is the power to initiate fundamental transformations in both matter and energy. This power extends to the ability to alter the very laws of physics within limited spaces, as demonstrated by her creation of the Nemither. However, she remains bound by the ancient pact made with Uzhyr at the universe's founding, preventing direct conflict between the two primordial deities.
Relationship with Uzhyr
The relationship between Morsvitae and Uzhyr remains one of the most complex aspects of cosmic history. Their initial cooperation in forging the universe led to genuine affection between them, with Uzhyr harboring deep feelings for his fellow creator. However, their fundamentally opposed natures - Uzhyr's drive for permanent order versus Morsvitae's embrace of constant change - eventually led to their estrangement.
Despite their current opposition, Morsvitae maintains no personal animosity toward Uzhyr. She views their conflict as another manifestation of the natural tension between order and chaos that exists throughout creation. However, she remains determined to prevent what she sees as the stagnation of reality under Uzhyr's absolute order.
